Answer: the alterpiece above is The Conversion of Saint Bavo by Peter Paul Rubens. Rubens (1577-1640) was a Flemish artist. This alterpiece is sited in the Saint Bavo Cathedral in Ghent. In the banner at the top of this page you see The Night Watch by Rembrandt van Rijn. Rembrandt (1606-1669) was a Dutch painter and is considered the most important artist in Dutch art history.
