At Ghent University you can join several student organizations or societies:

Associations linked to your educational programme. Every study has its own and they will welcome you at their activities.
Groups for students living in the university housing.
Political and philosophical clubs.
Cultural groups like a dance club, the university orchestra or choir.
Groups organized around a common interest like sustainability or the financial market.
