Hendrik Vos & Frans Grapperhaus, a Belgian-Dutch duo, have more in common than their origins suggest. They share a deep interest, if not fascination, with Europe.
What actually is the European Union, or rather, who is the European Union? Hendrik Vos offers an intriguing answer to this question. He started with the book "This is Europe" and now he brings the same fascinating story on stage in a theatre performance with the same name.
After countless successful performances in Belgium, it is now time for a large-scale tour throughout Europe with a stop @Ghent University. Hendrik and Frans build Europe on stage and present the history of the unification: encounters that led to great dreams and deeds. Humour, music, misunderstandings and compelling anecdotes form the essence of "This is Europe", the performance that tells the true story of how the European Union became what it is today.
